The network design engineer develops and maintains the organization’s networking topology on site or at a specific location. Network designers create effective computer network designs for large and small businesses. Design engineers created and maintained the company’s IT infrastructure. Job Description

It is the responsibility of the network designs engineer to oversee the detailed equipment engineering for network design, capacity management and network expansion. The installation team is involved in developing all the conditions necessary to properly install, replace, maintain and configure equipment, obtain appropriate maintenance guidelines, issue procurement guidelines and create relevant drawings and deliveries.

Job Responsibilities required for a Network Design Engineer:

  • To ensure that the work meets all relevant engineering, planning and operational standards
  • Provide technical solutions that help identify and minimize potential network problems and risks
  • To create unexpected situations and failures in network topology, maintain a trusted network unit that best serves the business needs of your customers.
  • The Document Network works to take active and corrective action as needed
  • Work with the NOC team of network operations to configure and implement network design changes
  • Provide guidance and training in Design Solutions and Additional Systems Training in On-Site Systems
  • Configure and support MPLS, Ethernet, Ethernet access, Layer 2 switching, wireless, network security and other network services

To become a successful network design consultants, you must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Candidate should be familiar with Network Topology, VMware, Wireless Technology, VoIP, Fiber Optics and MPLS.

Cisco Certification Path is a network architecture in which Cisco offers four types of certifications:

Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA):

Initial certification for network designs engineers, proving that basic site, data center, cybersecurity, voice and WAN networks can be planned. CCDA advises engineers to start a career in network design.

Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP):

This is required for senior engineers who have network knowledge and want to improve their understanding of design. CCDP engineers are able to create sophisticated designs that can meet more complex requirements.

Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE):

Lack of network designs for experienced network design engineers who collaborate with the business side of the business and coordinate business needs with the financial planner and integrate the various mechanisms. CCDE trains network design professionals with a wide range of technical knowledge about the network.

Cisco Certified Architect (CCAR):

This certificate is for Senior Network Infrastructure Architects who establish valid network conditions in support of business objectives. CCAs have a good knowledge and understanding of business practice and can understand the requirements of technical infrastructure.
